LEAP Mission Statement is to provide a safe, exciting and nurturing environment where students are actively engaged in both academic and enrichment activities. Students participate in a variety of activities that promote interest in fine and performing arts and athletics. Community agencies, parents, and staff collaborate to provide experiences that teach important life skills and college awareness, as well as reinforce the importance of being citizens of good character with confidence and pride in their community.
Project-Based Learning is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, and complex question, problem, or challenge.
21st- Century Learning refers to certain core competencies such as collaboration, digital literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving that students should acquire in order to thrive in today's world.
